what a perfect way to celebrate splatoon being 10 years old! i always found the little tidbits of lore we get the most interesting part of the series, and this is such a good interpretation of some of it! never thought both of those events would've been connected, but it works so well here, lol. the artstyle and music are spot on, and the animation itself is very nice!

i was so comically unprepared for the punchline i ended up like him

simple but fun, really does remind me of those little games i used to have on my first phone (it was so old it still had a physical keypad)

i was going to say "wow, this reminds me of that windows xp flash game from like a year ago" only to realize that not only is it made by the same people, they literally link to each other.
just like the last one, it's a sweet little love letter to the age of old, and i love it for that alone. the nostalgia is very real, lol

the rain flows so smoothly off the umbrella, its very nice to look at

the famitracker background fits the vibe of the piece very well, or perhaps i should say it the other way around? lol

both colors work nice but i prefer the first one imo

they remind me of the little sprites used in the party menu of the older pokemon games (big surprise considering the inspiration) i could totally see them working in an rpg or something

i love how the emocat has an extra frame just to be angy lol
