this is so pretty! you really capture that early internet vibe with your art and i love it
i miss classic red
you could tell me this was from a manga in the late 90s and i'd believe you, he looks so good here :o
if i didn't know better i would've thought you just downscaled preexisting footage, its honestly crazy how lifelike it is
Recently it has become difficult to upload a timelapse of the creation of a scene here. You can't attach a video to a publication, only from a third-party source
i love how the you followed the same color limitations of the nes, though technically dio's 'aura' would be a separate sprite due to using a color not in the rest of his palette (minor nitpick);
is dio's head a phase 2, considering it's also outlined in a different color? sick idea if true
i would absolutely play a rom hack/fangame with these sprites, awesome work
Thank You so much!!
For Dio, I was thinking about using two sprites. One for the body and aura (red, gray, light blue) and one for the head (dark blue, orange, light orange)
The black in the outlines on Dio's body is just transparent on the sprite, so it shows the black color from the background. And yeah, Dio's head definitely would turn into his phase 2.
everyone looks so nice in your style! congrats on the milestone!
Thank you so much!!! :D
the texture is very pretty, as well as your choice of colors :D
Thank you so much!
my guy otis lookin a bit like Jonathan Joestar with this one, not a bad thing though
love the colors and shading, great job!
IKR It wasn't intentional at all but I can't deny the resemblance! His hair shape from FNF was a bit tricky to breakdown and re-arrange for a semirealistic style but this was the best result I've come up with at the moment, though I've slightly exaggerated some parts. Also I usually avoid to paint pure black, especially when it comes to hair so instead I lean towards blue or purple shades. And of course I HAD to draw him looking tough enough to swing those AK's at ease. So yeah I can see why he ended up to be like this xD Thank you btw!
i wish i could be a plant too
If you want to be a plant start acting like a plant. Now grow on the double. If you train hard you will become a plant you just gotta believe in yourself.
